Castello Higo is located near Ville di Corsano, a charming Italian village just south of Siena. Siena can be reached in approximately 15 minutes by car, and regular buses connect the village with the city. Florence, Pisa and Bologna airports are all within easy reach, and we are happy to arrange an airport pick-up for your group.
Yes. Castello Higo is surrounded by the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside. Your group has exclusive use of the English gardens and the 15-metre swimming pool, which overlooks the surrounding hills and countryside.
Castello Higo has 11 rooms and can accommodate up to 20 overnight guests. The rooms vary in size, layout and bed configuration. Additional apartments are available nearby.
The minimum stay at Castello Higo is four nights, allowing your group time to settle in, explore the area and make the most of the retreat.
The fully equipped, fresco-covered indoor shala provides space for groups of up to 20 people. We provide mats, blocks, blankets, straps, bolsters and a sound system for music or guided sessions. Outdoor practice is also possible in the gardens or near the pool.
We aim to bring authentic Italian cuisine into every retreat. We work with two private chefs who can prepare meals tailored to your group's preferences and dietary requirements. Our local Nonna Vanna can also prepare a special Tuscan dinner and offer cooking classes if wanted.
Tuscany offers a wide range of activities, from exploring the medieval streets of Siena to cooking classes, natural hot springs and visits to nearby towns and villages. The coast is around 45 minutes away by car.
Yes. Every Higo House has a dedicated local concierge who welcomes your group, introduces you to the property and remains available throughout your stay.
