Villa Higo sits on the Mediterranean coast of the Côte d’Azur, next to the seaside village of Le Lavandou and around 20 minutes from Saint-Tropez. Toulon-Hyères Airport is about 20 minutes away, Marseille around 1 h 45 min and Nice around 2 hours. There is plenty of on-site parking, and airport transfers are available on request from any of the three airports.
Villa Higo offers 8 rooms as standard, or up to 12 rooms if needed, hosting up to 24 guests in a mix of double and twin rooms. Please keep in mind that the studio is equipped with 12 Reformer machines and Pilates equipment for 20 people.
The minimum stay is 5 nights in high season and 4 nights in mid-season (March, April and November).
The ground-floor studio features 12 Reformer machines behind a large window front overlooking the Côte d’Azur and the Îles d’Or (Golden Islands).
For mat Pilates we are fully equipped with mats, blocks, balls and more, with a small indoor space as well as the lovely terrace around the pool or the garden for a sunset session.
We work with two private chefs, depending on availability, who offer a diverse range of meals with a focus on French and Italian cuisine, including breakfast or brunch, a light lunch, snacks in between and a great dinner.
Besides our private chefs, our in-house concierge Patricia will welcome you, show you around and is always happy to help with any questions you may have.
Villa Higo sits above Le Lavandou, with the Massif des Maures behind and the Îles d’Or offshore.
Hiking – Follow the coastal path with sea views and pine shade, or climb into the hills behind the villa. Walks range from easy one-hour strolls to half-day hikes, and the hilltop village of Bormes-les-Mimosas makes a lovely destination.
Wine tour – Visit Domaine Murennes, a small organic wine estate hidden in the hills, for a cellar tour and tasting paired with local bites.
Boat trips – Ferries sail from Le Lavandou to the Îles d’Or, a group of three islands just off the coast, including Port-Cros, a protected nature island, and Porquerolles with its sandy beaches. Or charter a private boat to secluded bays and swimming stops.
Beach action – Snorkel the underwater nature trail on the island of Port-Cros, cycle between beaches on the island of Porquerolles, or ride an e-bike along the mainland coast and dive in wherever the water looks best.
Saint-Tropez day trip – Just a 25-minute drive away, Saint-Tropez invites you to wander the historic old harbour and narrow streets, browse galleries and boutiques, and treat yourself to a long lunch, a glamorous beach club or a glass of rosé by the water.
Le Lavandou enjoys a classic Mediterranean climate with around 300 days of sunshine a year. Summers are hot and dry, with sea temperatures perfect for swimming from May to October. Spring and autumn are mild and ideal for hiking, while winters stay gentle, sunny and rarely cold.
